Before you start: SendGrid

Open Email Campaigns (needs the Email Campaigns feature). The SendGrid Readiness panel must read Connected. Click Add/Edit SendGrid API Key, paste a key from your SendGrid account, and save; the app validates it. Until then, creating a campaign is locked.

The five-step campaign

  1. Campaign Details: a title and the From email.
  2. Add Recipients: upload an Excel file with Name and Email columns, or paste lines such as Name, email@example.com. Move contacts into To, CC or BCC. At least one To recipient is required.
  3. Compose Email: a subject and a rich-text body with images and attachments. Personalisation chips insert {{name}} and any other column you imported.
  4. Review & Send: a read-only recap. Send.
  5. Delivery Status: results per recipient.

The overview page shows counts of Total, Draft, Sent and Scheduled campaigns and a Recent Campaigns list to reopen drafts.

Delivery status

Each recipient shows Delivered, Failed, Pending or Sending with a timestamp and any error from SendGrid. A sent campaign cannot be sent again; duplicate it as a new campaign instead.

Sender reputation

SendGrid applies its own limits and requires a verified sender. Bounces and spam reports affect your SendGrid account, not the app.
