Roles & feature access

What decides whether you can see a page: your role, your brand, the features in your plan, and any add-ons on your account.

How access is decided

  1. Super Admin sees everything.
  2. On the main brands, every menu item in the brand's menu is available; plan features are not checked.
  3. On a reseller-branded site, a page opens only if its feature is in your plan (plus anything whitelisted for you, minus anything blacklisted). Otherwise the menu item is greyed and the page shows Feature Access Required with an upgrade button, or a note to contact your admin.
  4. Add-ons hide their menu items entirely until active.
  5. Some items are hidden or shown per brand regardless of plan.

Roles

RoleWhat it means
Super AdminThe platform operator. All pages, the Administration group, impersonation, user and reseller management.
ResellerRuns a white-labelled brand. Manages their customers' plans, feature switches and seats; sees Agency Commission.
Everyone elseA regular account. What you see depends on plan, add-ons and brand. There is no separate "agent" role; agents are regular accounts that have been shared inboxes and leads or invited as sub-accounts.

Account status is separate from role: a paid account (Premium in the admin list) has the WhatsApp Cloud subscription; a Blocked account is signed out on arrival.

Plan features

Feature names as your reseller sees them when switching them on, and the menu item each unlocks.

Company roles

RoleTypical use
ownerCreated the company. Full control.
adminManages members, HOT Assistant and company-wide settings.
managerOversees a group of members.
memberWorks in the company.
viewerRead-only.

Member statuses: active, invited, suspended, removed.

Lead and inbox sharing permissions

  • Leads: view, export, assign, edit, delete, granted per person when you share your leads source. Deleting is always limited to leads the person owns.
  • Inbox: per platform (WhatsApp, WABA, Messenger, Instagram), either full access or assigned only.

Sub-accounts and companies grant no permissions by themselves

A sub-account is a seat, and a company membership is a grouping. To let someone work your chats or leads you still share them, or assign items to them.
